How learner drivers can share their driving record with their Driving Instructor.
Go to www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
Enter the driver number and postcode shown on your licence plus your National Insurance number.
Confirm that you have read the privacy notice.
Click on the ‘View Now’ button.
Select the ‘Share your licence information’ tab found in top right of the window.
Click on the ‘Create a Code’ button.
Make a note of the check code which is generated for you – remember it is case sensitive.
Share this check code and the last eight characters of your driving licence number with your Driving Instructor immediately so they can view your driving record online.

You must give at least 48 hours’ notice to your instructor if you wish to cancel or re-arrange a booked driving lesson.
Failure to do so may result in your instructor charging you the full amount for that driving lesson.
We advise all clients to speak with us by email or telephone communication 'before' making an online payment.
We reserve the right to amend driving lessons if we are unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays or due to immovable traffic.
Lessons will be conveyed verbally in detail before making any lesson booking. Online payments for gift vouchers expire after 6 months but can be extended if requested within the time limit. Please telephone or email our Driving School if you have not received a response from us, or if for any reason we have not been unable to make contact with you within 5 working days of making your online payment.

Before your first driving lesson
Your driving lesson prep:
- Get some sleep
- Do NOT drink the night before
- Breakfast!
- Double-check where and when you're being picked up
What to bring to your driving lesson:
- Comfy, non-slip shoes
- Glasses if you think you'll need them for driving
Remember your provisional licence
